Today, i am going to refer to my previous review on the Kindle by Amazon.com, I am going to talk about the Amazon's Kindle again. LOL. Anyway, for those who have yet to see a picture of the kindle, here is the Kindle. Its a potable device which enable us to wireless download books, magazines, blogs etc to the kindle at a very minimum price.

To add to that, kindle also enable us to download MP3 at a price of $0.89 per song. While movie is priced at as low as $1.89 per movie. This is an investment book by Michael E.Edleson and published by Wiley. This is the second edition, the first one i don't remember when it was published. For those who does not know Mr. Edleson, he was Standard Chartered's director for many years.

In his book, Edleson explained the advantages of value averaging our investment over the time and to get an optimal return from the investment. This book also explained the different between value averaging vs dollar cost averaging or constant dollar averaging. The value averaging idea is simple. Since no one can perfectly time the market, this book suggest that we spread our risk over the period of time based on the value of the holding of the asset i.e. if price of the asset is low, we should increase our purchase of that asset. While when the price is high, we purchase smaller quantity or nothing at all or even take out some of the profit gain. This is all based on the average value of the asset. Simply said this strategy allow us to avoid sudden interruption in our investment flow but keep on investing in bad times and good times. The only different is we adjust the speed of our investment according to the current market while at the same time spreading the risk over a period of time. This strategy work best in asset like stock, mutual fund etc.

For those who is into investment, i highly recommend this book and would say this is a very good book! I personally bought this book and like it very much. Please be aware that this book this is not telling us about science of getting rich overnight book but its all about investing our money and spreading the risk over a period of time non-stop with some elements of profit taking when the times is good while not forgeting to be conservative during bad times. Ebays' Review: 10 cool electronic devices

Just to share Ebay's Review on 10 most searched electronic device. Among the listed items are:

What I would like to convey here is that the list MEANS business oppoturnity. A lot of people are looking for these products. But how exactly we are going to make money of this knowledge? set up an Ebay merchant account plus get paypal or visa or mastercard as our payment processor and auction it on Ebay too? Or think big, set up own store, build a website and sell it? Is that easy?

Final, word.. it's all cool and i like all those stuffs especially the iPhone, Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360 and GPS.

Review of today: The Kindle

On 6 May 2008, the Amazon has introduced a revolutionary portable device that enable wireless downloading and reading e-books, newspaper, magazines and blogs. One need to get the device which is priced around US$300.00 (one time investment) and then making a subscription to Amazon for the content at a few dollars fron Amazon. Personally, I would prefer the hard cover compared to soft copy reading as reading anything on-line or directly through computer has not been a very comfortable experience. However, based on the picture of the Kindle, the idea of reading on-line is very promising. I am very interested on this device and hope to try it out soon. Anyway, just visit the Amazon on-line store and check it out yourself if you are as curious as I am.
